Reflections in this section of the blog represent both personal thoughts and the completion of an assignment for EDUC 533 Dynamics of Change. The topics will range from Meaningful PE to the Change process and in the end connect the two together as I look to change my teaching practice to focus more explicitly on Meaningful Experiences in PE.
My capping experience will focus on Meaningful Physical Education experiences for my students. Meaningful PE is currently being researched by Dr. Tim Fletcher from Brock University in Ontario. Dr. Fletcher, along with two colleagues in Ireland and a number of grad students are working on the Learning About Meaningful Physical Education (LAMPE) project.

Change is a dynamic and ongoing process. As an educator change should be embraced and sought after, for without changing my teaching practice I am not able to improve what I offer my students. Check out my infographic on the change process...
The concept of reflection is one that, over the past couple years in the MED program, I have become more comfortable with. Part of my comfort level has come with the realization that I reflect at three distinct levels. Now I have no research to back me up and haven't even really looked for any. This design for my personal reflective journey made sense to me and so I will use it.
