Concept Maps
Concept Maps are graphic representations of concepts that details how they are connected. "Concept maps are a way to develop logical thinking and study skills by revealing connections and helping students see how individual ideas form a larger whole. Concept maps are used to stimulate the generation of ideas, and are believed to aid creativity. Concept mapping is also sometimes used for brain-storming. Although they are often personalized and idiosyncratic, concept maps can be used to communicate complex ideas." (Wikipedia)
The Digital Citizenship concepts and sub-concepts are numerous. Over the course of the school year (40 weeks) the 31 sub-concepts will be reviewed 1 per week. As part of this learning the Create a Website Unit (10 weeks) happens at the beginning of the first term and matches up with the lessons 1-10 of the Digital Citizenship program.
My concept maps were made using the online program Lucidchart. It can be found at https://www.lucidchart.com/pages/ and as an Educator it is possible to sign up for a free account that allows 10 documents, 100 MB of storage and is compatible with G-Suite.
